"Overall, the Grand Wailea is a great hotel, however, as a guest you feel like you’re just a cog in the machine. We had a great time, but never felt that over the top service / experience that you would expect for a hotel with the reputation that it has / costs as much as it does"
"Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Grounds are very clean and well maintained. It was easy to get poolside lounge chairs. Rooms were quiet and comfortable. Having the Maui Brewing Company onsite was great. Food was very good as was bar service. This place was not overcrowded. Whalers Village is literally a 3-4 minute walk. Highly recommend Outrigger Kaanapali Beach resort."
"We had such a great time at this condo hotel! Amenities were fantastic. There were some stores on site and also a mini mart that had snacks, drinks, and other items. Great location, food truck park right outside the hotel with plenty of choices for dinner if you wanted to stay close and not drive anywhere.
Staff were so gracious and helpful when we had questions about what to do in the area.
Though it is an older property, it was very clean and grounds were well maintained.
Our unit was also clean and had a full kitchen and washer/dryer combo.
The big pool was wonderful and had plenty of space for all guests.
The beach was steps away.
Wonderful hotel!"
"We had a wonderful stay at the resort. Breakfast was excellent every morning, with a great variety of options. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from both at the resort and nearby, making it easy to find something different each day. The pools were fantastic and a highlight of our stay. The only downside was that beach access could have been easier, and the beach lounge area felt a bit small, making it harder to relax and enjoy the beachfront. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely consider staying again."
"Spent our 20th anniversary here.
Beautiful Ocean views. Quiet and tranquil. Clean and spacious suite. Not overcrowded unlike the Wailea side.
It was a great resort for the most amazing Maui experience."
"Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Concierge was top shelf. Huge balcony with ocean views…very convenient for shopping, dining, groceries (walking distance to everything). Superb price, especially with military discount."
