Avoid like the plague

Did not feel safe here. “Restaurant” consisted of microwaved pizza or pasta - there is no kitchen. This place is more like a hostel. Tiny room. Dark hallway off of the parking lot, up a flight of stairs was the “reception”. Unsavoury characters hanging out in lobby tried to corral my 78 year old mom outside at night. Within a few hours of being there we told reception we were checking out next day. Because we booked on Hotels.com and had to prepay our stay, the Ibis is refusing to refund our other two nights. This is absolutely unacceptable. Hotels.com needs to do better and insist on refunding the balance of our stay. The Ibis should not even be on this booking site. The “good” reviews are untrue. Avoid like the plague.
