"Received with a friendly and welcoming manner by Julie the landlady. And parking of its own off street. Guest house was a lovely and room was spotless. Was in family room Green room, was as fresh as a daisy. 1 double bed and 2 single beds with all matching covers. Very comfortable. Tea, coffee etc facilities along with homemade shortbread delicious. Also an en-suite with all shower products. You name it and it was there. Just a delight to stay in. Breakfast very good menu , ordered porridge which was great along with poached egg, haggis, toast and marmalade. Nice bowl of fruit. No complaints at all with Dunclutha. Would recommend to friends and would return if I had to visit Leven again."

"Excellent simple accommodation with shared bathroom. Extremely clean, warm and relatively quiet (for an old building). No notification of door key code as promised but staff resident so no issues with 21:00 check-in. Would definitely stay again."

"This is a converted pub with an Indian Restaurant on the ground floor. Food very good cooked to taste, no breakfast offered/available. Rooms clean but dated. TV not tuned in, only BBC channels available. Good shower/bathroom. "

"Although the suite itself was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable, unfortunately our stay was overshadowed by several issues. The lights in the room didn’t work properly, which was frustrating from the start. The door to the suite constantly rattled whenever the downstairs door opened and shut, and because of the lack of soundproofing you could hear every conversation from below. Noise was the biggest problem. There is no double glazing, so we could hear everything happening outside the property, including people shouting late into the night. There was also karaoke in the pub nearby which went on late, something we had no prior knowledge of. As a result, it was very difficult to relax or sleep. It’s a shame because the suite itself is attractive and the bed is comfortable, but none of that matters if you can’t actually sleep. Unfortunately, we would not recommend this property for anyone looking for a quiet or romantic night away."
