"Really unique hotel in a great area"

"The is a cute, quaint hotel with a lot of nostalgia. The rooms are very spacious, comfy beds with plenty of pillows. The location was perfect, we walked around til after 11:00 pm & felt safe. Staff was wonderful. My only comment was we were on the 3rd floor, which was “ok” for us mid 50’s. But if you have bad knees, etc I would make sure to get a room on the lower floor. Parking garage is right across from the hotel. I would definitely stay here again…"

"This was my first experience in a ROOST property and it was a great alternative to a classic hotel! The apartment was modern and chic but cozy. It felt like coming home to our own place after walking around the city. The apartment was very clean, well decorated, and comfortable. The 3rd floor amenity floor was gorgeous - beautiful green terraces to hang out on, a spacious and clean outdoor rooftop pool, hang out spots that were empty every time we visited. "Beautiful, large room wtih tasteful, thoughtfully-selected furniture and amenities. Location was excellent for visiting the historic landmarks. Media system in room was problematic and did not work over the 5-night visit. Efforts to fix it were unsuccessful."

"We loved staying in an historic building in a great location near so many of the old town attractions. It was nicely updated and very clean. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly and the food at breakfast was great. Our room was on the smaller side, but I'm not complaining as the layout was well thought out and very nicely decorated and no outside noise. We gighjy recommend it and would stay again if we're back in Philly!"

"Upon entering, everything was nice and in order. After looking around, we discovered that there was hair in the bathroom and the shower, the floor was dusty, and the linen was not cleaned. There were stains on the down comforter that was provided. The loft was straightened up, not cleaned. It is a service fee which includes cleaning so it is not the customer’s job to clean up before enjoying the place or before leaving. The WiFi was not the best. It kept cutting out on both TV’s. "This is a WONDERFUL B&B in the heart of Philadelphia. We really enjoyed our stay! The staff is kind and very helpful; the rooms are beautiful and the breakfast is great! "We met Adam the first night and he showed us the wine cellar and the 2 event rooms they have downstairs. He introduced us to his wine manager who was very gracious and gifted us a bottle of wine we liked at their 5pm social hour the next day. The front desk was also friendly and helpful. The only minus is there’s no on site parking so it gets pretty chaotic when multiple people are at the valet desk. The great location and friendly staff are enough to keep us coming back."

"The vouchers for free house wine. $ Rideshare coupon per stay. The breakfast was delicious. The service was excellent. Excellent location with city hall train station across the street to get to the stadiums. Highly recommend! Walking distance to all. Reading market is one short block away, behind the hotel. There is also a ticketing/boarding stop on the hop on-hop off buses right there by the reading market too."
