"when I checked into my room at 5pm, all was fine. then I went into Ghent (lovely city) for the evening. when I got back a little after 11pm there was no power/lights in my room. and no staff to help! there was book on the desk in my room with hotel policies etc, but it was horribly outdated as it said to dial the front desk if one had any questions, but of course there are no longer any internal phones in the hotel. the next morning there was finally front desk staff, but they were incompetent...

"Big unit with comfortable beds Pillows were terrible though. Had a small kitchen. The breakfast was good and lots of choices. Close to Gent Dampoort station, less than 10 minute walk. About a 15 minute walk to city central and all the sites. A few restaurants closer than walking to the city. Overall good place if you don't mind the walk to sites and are looking for the extra room and kitchen."

"Small room but I had everything I needed. Expensive tho for +100€. Anyways I was happy. Bus to St. Pieters is just around the corner. Walking distance to beautiful Ghent."

"The hosts were very nice and helpful with advice for our travels. Breakfast was fabulous, and our room was comfortable and clean with a large jetted bathtub that was perfect. "

"Took us a minute to find where to check in, but the staff was great once we found them. Only issue with the room is the soap is a generic liquid soap in a wall dispenser, but there were no washcloths. We went to be close to the stadium - it is not convenient to the Medieval center of Ghent. That area is also very industrial and we could smell fumes from the chemical plant as we walked (did NOT smell in the room). Was a great, economic place to drop and go for a football game, but would not base...

"Loved the spa as part of the property, but the pool is tiny. Can really have a swim. There are jets in the pool also but not comfortable to use. I did have the best massage ever."

"The description of the location for this hotel needs to be more specific. Unfortunately we didn’t do our geography homework thoroughly enough😤. This hotel is primarily for business users NOT tourists. It is on a business park on the outskirts of the city with NO public transport less than a 20 minute walk away. Taxi fares added expenses. No restaurant facility for evening meals."
