"The view out the front window of the hotel is beautiful. The food was ok.. not amazing. I ordered the risotto and it was terrible. We ended up walking to a nearby restaurant for drinks and their restaurant was booked and had more options. Jay the manager was super friendly and the room was comfortable and the bathrooms newly renovated and clean."

We were greeted with a smile and friendly conversation, plus some great recommendations about our travel in the area. After being offered the option of parking in a public car park a short walk away we declined this option and after some more discussion with the receptionist we eventually got agreement that we could park outside. "Beautiful location, quaint little spot. I would give it 4 1/2 stars but I didn’t get a wink sleep because the mattresses were less comfortable than sleeping on the ground in a tent. It wasn’t even what I would call a mattress. The double bed was actually two twin box springs pushed together. Unbelievable that such a beautiful and quaint hotel wouldn’t spend a little bit of money making sure their guests got a comfortable night sleep"

Additionally, there were many stairs in the building, and several between the room and the bathroom. Some dirt here and there, and a few spots on the linens, but an average stay. Our room had a skylight."
