"We arrived around 10 pm. The front receptionist was clicking on her computer and looking at her phone. She doesn't look up, greet me, or even say I'll be right with you. After a very uncomfortable ,rude few minutes of her basically ignoring me, and I have my od and card out on the counter, she finally looks up to check me in. Property feels and looks dated. Not very clean, there were mold spots in the shower grout, pool are was not cared for, and 1 elevator was out of service. We were in town...

"Staff friendly. Clean. Room overpriced for what it was and the area. Looks like they increased price for local event. Room had bedside light out, shower dripped and made noise as it hit drain cover (all night) and only one chair (desk chair) in room. They charged $5 facilities maintainable fee on top of room charges. No irony there. Stayed in much nicer Marriott properties in NYC, Chicago and elsewhere for less."

"Always the perfect stay at White Bear Lake Best Western!! The food, pool and hot tub are top notch. The owner checks in with you to make sure you have everything you need fantastic place to vaycay"

"This was a fantastic hotel. Very clean property especially the pool area. The room was so clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was top tier. Anything you would like for breakfast they had it. Waffles, pork tacos, chia pudding, eggs, sausage. We will be back!!"

"Funky drive way, 1 road with 3 back to back drive ports, all leading to a different thing. McDonalds, the hotel and a church. Non of them connecting, so if you pass the hotel you can't us the church parking lot to get though, and the hotel is smack dab in the middle. It was funny!"

"We had to ask for new sets of sheets due to finding dark long hair and star confetti in the "clean" bed sheets. Breakfast was ok. Cute seating area/atrium. You get what you paid for."

We also had issues with either someone in the room next to us or some other guests putting their food garbage outside our door. This happened twice in the two nights we were there. "System was not working at time of check in. Two men at counter, only 1 acknowledged me. The other might have been IT but thought he could let me know that. Also fridge was unplugged and we are not certain why."
