"Location of the hotel is great, there is a lot of stuff happening around it. Property seems a little old, but the bathroom was upgraded. Breakfast wasn’t that great, I prepaid and the buffet was basic with the same stuff all week. Some variety or nicer food would have been better. Helpdesk service wasn’t great. Many times they don’t pick up the phone, on two occasions when water was requested- once it never came after a few hours and to call back. Another time it wasn’t sent after over an hour...

"Good sized rooms comfortable and a bonus the hot tub! Only downside they have extended the hot tub use to midnight from the previous 10.30pm cut off so I didn’t appreciate the room above me in the hot tub until 11.30pm it was noisy. Good quiet location."

"The hotel and the staff were great. The only advise I would give staff is that when people check in to just inform them of how the lifts work (as you need to use your room card key to work them) and how to switch the air con on in the room (took us an hour to suss out we had to press a button on the top of the panel to turn it on). Other than this it was a lovely stay over and it was very comfortable! Thank you "

"Very comfy beds & pillows , nice bar & reception staff , Nice pool sauna steam good, not luxurious enough to be called a spa. Our room had a power failure when we awoke 2nd morning, no air con & v warm day, we had to use the bathroom in the dark & couldn’t shower , when we rang reception there was no answer ,we reported as we checked out but only received an apology & still charged the full rate?"

"Great property, very clean, modern and very close to all public transportation. Access to property was easy. Amenities were very impressive. Lots of good restaurants in the vicinity. We saw few folks complain about train noise but with air conditioning on, we didn’t feel any noise. Overall a great & well managed property. We will definitely recommend it."

"Beware that there are rooms without air conditioning (especially in the roof) that desperately need it in the hot weather. It was a very hot day, but the streets had a cool breeze. We had a room on the top floor. The staff were nice enough, but the room was horrendously hot - we left earlier than we would have because it was so unbearable. There were some tiny, really cheap desk fans provided, but they only moved so much air, and you basically had to use two and balance them on the windowsill...

"The AC system was not working in our first room and we had to downgrade to get a smaller room that had AC. Heat wave in London did not help. Interesting that front desk person was located in a sister hotel across the street, so had to wait for them to come over to check in and then check out."

"Excellent place and neighborhood. And above all our concierge Lucie provided first rate service and provided assistance whenever we needed it. Also during this heat wave, the AC was a godsend."
