"Close to the airport. Much more reasonably priced than downtown Portland. The man who cooked us breakfast was so nice, and you could tell, really took pride in making us a delicious meal. He was friendly and accomodating. The breakfast food was very good.
The only thing I do not care for is having to go to a third party to reserve a room. I much prefer speaking to the hotel staff of the place I am staying. When I was transferred to the "reservation desk" (which was a third party,) they...

"The toilet did not flush ! Ihad to remove the tank lid and lift the stopper. It was late and I neede to get to sleep rather than wait for a repairman.
In the morning the room was cool and I attempted to adjust the thermostat and it was flashing a battery symbol. I reported it to the desk attendant and he apologized.
How can a room be cleaned by an employee and not notice these issues?
I was expecting better from HIlton."
