"Pleasant hotel with spa facilities about 20 minutes drive from Norwich. Having a good size pool with steam room, sauna and jacuzzi was really useful. Breakfast was excellent - usual buffet with the addition of cooked to order items such as avocado toast, eggs Benedict, etc. Lack of aircon in the bedrooms was a serious deficiency - not helped by the room being fairly small. Bathroom was very cramped. Lack of a fridge was also a disappointment. Especially as there was a cupboard under the TV...

"The property was very dated, with a need of a deep clean and decor update. Carpets were stained and our particular room had a unpleasent smell. Overall the property has seen better days, I guess this is reflected in a lower than average room price for the area. Staff however were very friendly and although we did not eat a main meal, the portions looked generous and other guests appeared content. Suggest read the available reviews and make you own decision."

"I booked a room but all night there were banging doors outside my room as the main corridor door was right next to my room. I was also near the hotel entrance where there was a lot of banging. So not a great night sleep!"

"Good location, parking was plentiful and appeared safe. Hotel room was clean as were the linens and towels however our room was above the bar and you could hear people chatting downstairs. The shower was small but functional, although the shower door was broken. Corridors to the rooms were tired and needed some tlc. I arrived late due to being held up at work so called ahead, the chap on the phone was kind enough to wait 1hr30 past the check-in deadline for me to get there, thank you! Had only booked the single room for 1 night, while the room could be classed as a little snug it was nothing less than very comfortable. The room is very well presented and incredibly clean, bed was super comfy and bathroom was spotless and of a decent size. Paid extra for the Full English...

The decor was superb, the breakfast was delicious and the owners and staff were wonderful. Would definitely stay there again when visiting family in the area."
