"Absolutely charming, nostalgic mom’n’pop hotel. Right in the river. We sat, drank our coffee, and watched the boats pass from our porch. The room wasn’t large but wasn’t small either. It’s an older property but the room was neat, clean, and nicely updated. Bed was comfortable and we had no problems at all. Ms Carol and the staff were warm and friendly and made sure we enjoyed our stay. Perfectly out of the way and peaceful but with plenty of options for enjoying the river. We’ll be back!"

"We booked here for an overnight stay. The room was clean, bathroom was clean. It was better than I expected. They had breakfast the next morning in the lobby with a variation of different items (pastries, bagels, hot food, like sausage patties and links, eggs, potatoes, biscuits, juices, coffee, tea, fruit and yogurt). Nice affordable price and a clean stay which was appreciated on my brief stay in Sanford."

"The Ann Stevens House was a short stay. We went to the Daytona 500 about 26 miles away. It was quaint with antiques placed in our 2nd story room. The mattress was rather hard, but not horrible. There was of plenty of parking and the room was very clean. The host is very nice and accommodating. My only negative comment is that the stairs, that looked rather new, were rough cut, unsanded and unfinished. My husband got a pretty large splinter from the banister. "

"Overall, it was clean. Bedrooms, bathroom, and kitchen were fine. There was a small puddle on floor in one of the rooms. A windowsill in the common area had a dead mosquito. Front porch furniture wasn’t clean. Didn’t meet a staff member until ready to leave. Extra supplies were provided upon request. "

"I absolutely love everything about it ! It truly brought back time how the original Fla used to be where everything isn’t manmade. It felt like home. The staff was very friendly and helpful. "We just needed an affordable and clean safe place to sleep and this checked the boxes. The staff were very helpful and it had what we needed. A few quirks for being an older hotel, (had to turn on the light switch for the bathroom before you could get in and close the door in the middle of the night, and there's a hole in the wall in the bathroom where the door knob hits it) but worked great for us and we were happy to use this place. Loved that the mattresses were NOT memory foam! Thank you!...
