"Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. "Comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Good food available in the evening and good selection of cereals, cheese, pastries etc for breakfast. Expedia appeared to have messed up the booking but the hotel was flexible in accommodating us and finding a room."

"From when we arrived to when we left Nic and Wendy were very attentive. The B&B is lovely and clean, the rooms are decorated beautifully with plenty of facilities. A fantastic breakfast awaits you in the morning. Lots of choice and a tasty full English. Definitely come back and recommend. "

"Our stay was fabulous. The food is 12/10 We had our dog with us so we had to eat in the bar but it has a roaring fire and a lovely atmosphere and I’d argue this was the best seat in the house. Our room was in a little outbuilding and it was just perfect. Super quiet of a night too. The servers are all very young and the best and most smiley service I’ve had in a long time "

"Honestly while the hotel could do with some updating, it hit the most important notes. The WiFi was quick and easy to log into. The bed was comfortable and all was clean. The water pressure was good. So for the value it’s hard to find fault. Whilst it could do with more food offerings the area isn’t without options. I can recommend the Castle Bistro nearby. The food was amazing the staff were lovely. "

"The accommodation was comfortable and clean, and well equipped. It was ideally situated for touring around the area, and even though the apartment was in the town, it was quiet and only a few minutes walk to shops and eating places. The owner was quick to respond to a query we had, and gave us useful information prior to our visit. A relaxing and enjoyable stay, plenty of places to visit and local walks. "
