"Beautiful hotel, great location, immaculate and picturesque gardens. Rooms well decorated, clean, really can't complain about the aesthetics. Staff attentive. Breakfast choice very good and delicious. Our only complaint was the noise in the beer garden. The weather was really good, and so, attracted people (guests & non guests) to the beer garden. "Lovely clean rooms set in a lovely hotel with beautiful surroundings. Carpark had plenty of space. The pub/restaurant was fantastic. One of the best steaks I’ve had. I was impressed by the wine list as it had plenty of choice of fantastic wines. Only downside was they stopped serving drinks at 10pm. Much too early to shut shop after you’ve been in the restaurant all evening. Other than that, we were satisfied."

"My overall assessment on the stay would rate it no more than a three star. There are some minor maintenance issues that need to be looked into. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Food was very good and the full English was excellent. The idea of filling out what you wanted for breakfast the previous day was not really how I would like it as this might change, I would prefer to decide on the day. Conclusion: The accommodation was a little tired and in need of a spruce up."

"Clean and tidy room No air conditioner it was extremely hot over 31 degrees celsius and the window could not be opened due to a window safety cable. We had to cut our stay shorts it was just too hot and we could not sleep in the room. Very stuffy fan just circulated hot air. Very disappointing thought Best Western had a minimum standard across the chain this one certainly did not compare to others....."

"The room had everything we needed, and we managed to get extra coffee when we required it. The staff were very helpful and made our visit run smoothly. For our stay, the air conditioning in the room was a bonus, as it was during a very hot spell. We didn't watch the TV, but it looked to have everything you might need on there.
