"We had a disappointing experience, especially for the high cost. The building is in a state of disrepair and requires major renovations and significant upgrades. I would not recommend this hotel. The food and service in the restaurant was good, however."

"We met Lucy at the door and she was just wonderful! Very sweet and showed us around our room and the home. Our room was clean, large, and had a giant soaker tub, and a sitting room with a view of the mountains. The food for breakfast was delicious. I had the vegetarian meal and some fruit. We had a loch view which was lovely as we were celebrating two birthdays! The staff are so friendly, thank you all. There is a newer more modern part and the older historic building - we’ve been in the older bit both times. As the building is older, you can’t expect it to be clinical like a new build! "This place is a real gem. To actually engage with the owners and family at check in was brilliant. Shops, sites etc very close with Di (owner) more than willing to assist in any way possible. Something that AI and contactless properties wish to avoid. Great place a recommend."
