"We had the most delightful stay at the Whispering Pines Hotel. Spotless hotel with delightful and polite staff. The night was very stormy but we felt warm and cosy and despite the numerous times the electricity cut out the generators kicked in and we were back on with power with no fuss. My only criticism is the meal prices were way too high and the choices were too limited"

"What did we like? Here goes..warm welcome, clear information on breakfast and room details. Although this looks like an old hotel it I assume it has had a lot of money spent on upgrades to retain "Ye Olde" feel to it. Room was not massive but very well decorated with lovely solid sleigh bed. En-suite was very up to date with nice shower and endless hot water. Tiled floor but underfloor heating so not getting back in to bed with ice cold feet after a 3am loo trip. Sockets at bed side tables...

"Such a lovely place to stay, the Nevis Bank Inn was so very quaint and comfy for our two nights stay, we only wished we could stay for a few more! The location is perfect for Fort William with excellent access to big ol’ Ben Nevis and the Fort William highstreet / Loch Eil that is if you can muster the determination to get up from their super soft beds that I for one could have stayed all day long in. Brilliant place to stay 10/10 would lay their heads again ; )"

It genuinely feels homely and cosy, not just like a rental. "When I booked to stay here I didn't know what I was actually booking since I only needed a room for one night and this was the only option close to the Fort William train station that was left. WOW! I was blown away by it!!! The rooms were amazing! The dinning area and dinner was wonderful. I've already decided that when it comes time for my honeymoon this will be place I want it at."
