"What an exceptional stay! It was perfect! Authentically French! Richard and Sophie have updated this chateau to a warm, cozy and inviting accommodation, paying attention to every detail. From the beautiful landscape and the history of the home to the home grown gardens to the charming pets, large and small, it just does not get any better. Richard is the perfect host from a exquisite French breakfast every morning, then helping us to plan our day and generously making the perfect dinner...

"We had a lovely 6 day stay at the Manoir de Contres this week. The Manoir is beautiful, our room was cool (v effective aircon) and comfortable, and the food was delicious (4 course dinner each night). We very much appreciated the kindness and good company of our hosts Victor and Maria. We will recommend Le Manoir de Contres to all our friends."

"Place was totally charming. Combining old European country charm with a bit of moderne art quirkiness. Staff bent over backwards to greet us warmly. My wife’s had become sick. They provided us an inhalation tool and cool eucalyptus med to help her feel better. They gave great help in choosing which Loire Valley Chateau to go to. I highly recommend this place."

"Tres bonne accueil des propriétaires très sympathique "

"Questa struttura è a dir poco incantevole! Vincent gentilissimo e super disponibile!
