"Very old and outdated hotel/rooms not sure why they ask for a deposit as the beds are very simple (old hospital metal beds with no headboard) and in dire need of repair, highly uncomfortable and not stable. Damaged walls and very dusty room. Opposite St Pancras station so lots of food places within walking distance. Not impressed as the price was definitely not worth the stay. Highly noisy throughout the night and not at all a peaceful experience. I vacated as early as I could it was...

"Really nice place, loved the view out the window. Restaurant looked nice but didn't end up eating there. Room itself is cramped but that's the nature of getting such a historic place."

"Couldn’t actually find the entrance as there’s no signage for Oxford hotel. Had to go in another hotel at the address and apparently they share a reception. Otherwise really good."

"The only thing going for this place is the location close to Paddington. Otherwise it’s pretty run down. The lift is broken so you’re carrying your luggage up flights of stairs. I was on the 4th floor so I certainly got my steps in. They charge to hold your bags prior to check in which seems a bit grabby considering you’re booked with them and most hotels off this service for free. The carpets are well past their end of life and the shower has a mind of its own temperature wise as it’s obvious...

"Hotel was ok, room was quite small and dated. Had signs of ware ranging from rust on the mirror, black mould in the bathroom and the tv not working due to a broken aerial. Iron had burnt stuff all over it so if you are thinking of staying here I would bring your own iron. Staff weren’t very quick at responding to requests and I had to chase it up multiple times "
