"The room was clean and nice. Having 4 kids with us it was upsetting that the ac in the living room didn’t work and the shower head was not functioning properly and had very low water pressure. There’s 2 tvs but only 1 remote was provided. Other than the few things we enjoyed our stay."

"Clean, quiet and convenient hotel in Flushing. Room was very nice and clean towels brought in every day. The hotel restaurant was pretty good, and the service in the restaurant was really good. Valet staff were pretty busy, and we had had people cutting line on us but I have to guess that standard everywhere , but valets got our vehicle pretty quick most days. Bed was very comfortable."

"The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. We booked a suite and it was spacious and clean. The breakfast was very nice. The pool was disappointing. It was unclean and there were hairs and bugs floating in it. The pool water actually looked stagnant, so maybe the filter wasn't working. The pool walls and floor were filthy. We were so grossed out that we couldn't even use it. The air conditioner in our room wouldn't not get cold even after setting it to 60. Check in and check out were easy...

"When you first pull up to the Whitman you might think, "uh-oh" because the exterior and the reception lobby leave a lot to be desired BUT don't let that fool you, this is an excellent and fairly inexpensive motel/hotel for 1 or 2 nights. The reviews are accurate. The rooms have all been redone to a high standard - (I've stayed at 4 star hotels that were not as nice). The bed was excellent and comfy.
