Unable to check in nor canceled due to emergency reason have to be in the hospital with a family & not been canceled. However contacted the place via email . I wish I can have a refund . The place was hard to find as only small name outside when tried to locate .

I am writing to file a formal complaint about a very unpleasant and disrespectful experience I had at your hotel. I had a valid reservation, but one of your employees—a Black man working at the entrance/front desk—did not allow me to enter. He insulted me using very inappropriate language and even threw away my Green Card. His behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional. No guest should ever be treated in such a disrespectful way. I ask that you take this matter seriously and review this employee’s actions. People with such behavior should not be working in customer service or representing your hotel. Please investigate this incident and let me know what steps will be taken to address it.

This was my first time staying at a hostel. I was nervous at first but after seeing a YouTube tour of the place, I felt much better. In person it was so cool! I met people from all over the world, everyone was super nice. Everything was very clean, housekeeping was ON it. When I made my booking I chose a mixed gender room bc I think that was the only option left but when I checked in, the gentleman at the front desk asked me if I wanted to do an all female room and of course I said yes - I was very relieved and happy he was nice enough to do that for me. The only reason I gave "Area around the property" 4 stars is bc I got catcalled by a group of guys in the parking lot behind the hostel. Hollywood can be sketchy just be aware of your surroundings! Everything was fine though, there's many tourists around.

Everything is nice, the location has been an advantage and also disadvantage, as the room faced the Hollywood Blvd and right opposite to Hollywood/Highland station, which caused the noise issue at night, people singing and playing music loudly...Overall the hostel is fabulous with the breakfast, great location and helpful staff. I probably came during a busy weekend, just need to be patient to wait for the changing room and bathroom, there're only 4 bathrooms for female guests.
