My review:
1). Person across the hall from us blared his/her television all night long. Woke me up at 4:00 AM. Finally at 6:00 AM we had to call the front office and have the staff pound on their door to get them to turn off the television.
2) Floor above our room creaked whenever somebody walked on it. Woke us up in the morning. Their shower made a lot of noise. It seemed like it was in our room. Walls are paper thin.
3) Whatever you do don’t park in the basement. It is a steep single car lane into the basement. Nearly impossible to make the 90 degree turn to get out. I was an inch from scratching the side of my car trying to get out. My wife had to get out to help me navigate the turn. Wall at base of steep one car lane out had lots of scars from people who weren’t so lucky. There was parking behind hotel.
4) The sink area didn’t have a light. We found this strange. I had to take my contacts out on the bed that had light.
5) Bed was like a rock. Hope you like an extra, extra firm bed.
6) Breakfast was decent. Waffles, cereal, bagels, muffins, cocoa, coffee, boiled eggs, and yogurt.
7) All the buildings around the hotel had bars on them.
8) We asked the receptionist where to eat and she told us of a restaurant down the street that looked aweful. She didn’t tell us that the Beverly Hills Grove was just 3 blocks away. We found out about it by asking a stranger. Hundreds of restaurants and a huge farmers market.
Would not stay there again.
