"The television wasn’t working and even though I called twice it was not repaired until the last night of our 3 night stay."

"We arrived a week before derby in hopes of checking off a large bucket list. The historical Galt House was part of that for me. Our room was halfway clean as evidenced by previous patron’s hair in the bathroom and nail clippings beside the bed. The marijuana smell flowing down the hall was accompanied by non-stop pounding music. The front desk was notified several times without anyone ever coming up to stop the incessant partying. The wall unit A/C was loud, filthy & barely doing it’s job the whole time. This hotel has 2 towers & the west tower had staff at the front desk twice. The hotel has no security features (the doors unlocked & unmanned, the elevator key access not activated). Miraculously the day the bulk of derby goers arrived the common areas were tidied up. We plan on making derby a habit but sadly not at this location."

"Absolutely beautiful hotel!!!! History around every corner and the staff is top notch. Our room was perfect and the staff was attentive to our needs. We did partake of the breakfast buffet. It is a little pricey (which is to be expected) but it was very good!"
