"Stayed for one week, the staff are brilliant, really helpful and easy to talk to. Bedroom was a nice size and bed was comfy and clean. TV had a good range of channels if that’s important to you. WiFi was also reliable and quick.
Bathroom was quite clean but a few marks around the bath other than that the whole room was spotless.
Breakfast was standard, egg, sausages, waffle machine, yogurt, fruit, 3 cereal choices and juice, pretty good for free breakfast.
Location is good as well, about a 10 minute walk to Leesburg Plaza and then 25/30 minute walk or 10 minute drive to Leesburg Historic District which is really nice.
I didn’t use the parking but there is plenty of spaces and it’s free. I think this hotel deserves a much better reputation and it was a great first experience of American hospitality as a Brit.
Overall I think this hotel represents really good value for money, and I’d definitely stay here again."
"The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that the TV in the room was not working. I was offered to change my room across the hall. I respectfully declined since it was late in the evening. I did however mentioned to possibly stop by after 9am to fix the problem. The Maintenance staff person did stop by on time and fixed the cabling issue. He also spotted me in the cafeteria lounge and took the time to let me know what the problem was and that i was fixed. I really appreciated that.
All the ladies stationed to handle breakfast have been consistently Welcoming and so friendly.
Thank you Spark Team for always making me feel welcome."
"We’ve stayed at this location before. The location is great to Harper’s Ferry and the view is very nice, since it is up on a hilltop. The rooms were an average hotel room, nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. Amenities included body wash, shampoo and conditioner, which was very nice. The bathroom is small but functional. The floor gets dangerously slippery when wet, so use a towel on floor. Breakfast had all the continental breakfast options: yogurt, waffles, eggs, sausage, toast, cereal, etc. no internet service from dining room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking free and easy. Room was clean and A/C worked well. Slight smell in room and hallways, but not bad. Dinner in restaurant was good. I’d say a little pricey for the stay, but overall good place to stay near Harpers Ferry."
