"Really nice hotel. Classic older California hotel that's been recently and nicely renovated. Nice area. All the fixtures and furniture are new and well maintained. Immaculately clean. Quiet. "Overall, the property meet our expectations, as well had stayed here in the past.
However, a recent Corporate makeover of the rooms left me unable to work at the desk in the room.
A 'new and improved' desk lamp is only about 10" tall and the light just shines down on the base,.
You simply can not read any documents, etc.!
I complained to the front deck and they put a big pole lamp at the end of the desk.
Much better,
I also received a nice note about my inconvenience.
