"Check in could be improved. Arrived to a busy pub with customers waiting for service at the bar and no designated check in desk. Several staff just walked past us with our bags and no one acknowledged we were trying to check in for several minutes. The room was okay but not as shown on our booking confirmation - it was an attic room with very steep stairs and a not very safe landing area outside the door. The bathroom had been shoehorned in under a sloping ceiling - there was no shower, just...

"A lot of electrical connections for battery cars but to many for petrol one's. It may be future but just yet.. Check-in was quick and easy with our host very friendly and informative on nights of our visit. The room for three of us was clean and tidy. Will stay again."

"Really enjoyed our night here for our anniversary. Room was bright, airy and clean and the hotel was very nice. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. One thing we did notice is that it does require some maintenance on the outside. Our room was on the 1st floor, with a small balcony. Although the weather was fine, we were unable to sit out there as there was too much sitting rainwater, and from looking on the ground up, the balcony edges were worn and looking tired/ messy. "Had a 2 night stay at the hotel in an Executive suite. The reception staff were very warm and welcoming & helpful. It was a business stay on a Friday and Saturday. Parking was good directly outside. Spacious room, very clean and tidy- the bed was absolutely huge and so comfortable it was very luxurious to sleep in after a hard days work. There was a beautiful wedding on at the hotel and looked so beautiful and glamorous, it was lovely to see. Very much enjoyed the stay & would definitely stay...

"The room was big and the bed comfy, with the staff friendly, however having just reopened it is in need of some work. One wall mounted socket (head height) for a TV coffee machine and a kettle, with the kettle cord not reaching the plug was not good. The amenities were lacking in the shower, and there was rust on the frame holding the wash hand basin in the bathroom. All of which was disappointing. Also £20 for breakfast was a bit steep!"
