"Difficult to describe - it's just an historic hotel in an ideal situation with excellent staff and very nice catering. Breakfast is first class."

"The accommodation was ideally located for the centre of Ludlow where we were attending a concert. Being able to leave the car in the grounds was a big plus. I had a twin room to myself which was fine but two adults might have been challenged with the lack of space. The bed was comfortable, the room felt freshly decorated, the hospitality tray was well stocked and the towels were mostly soft. All basic requirements were covered. I didn't use any communal facilities so can't comment on them but the availability of extra items if needed was good. It was a good quality hostel and perfectly adequate for a short stay."

"Very friendly staff and well maintained hotel, the room was clean but a bit noisy. Room 4 was a bit noisy as the kitchen was below and we had to have the windows open, we were only staying the one night so didn’t complain. We had eat in the restaurant on Monday evening and had a very pleasant time good food and a drink outside on the patio."

"Such a great experience staying in this amazing, characterful house! Thoroughly recommend for its spacious bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms, fantastic lounge with log fire burner, a great sized kitchen and amazing dining room. We had a birthday weekend party of 20 people and three dogs, loads of space and everyone had a great time. Owner was very helpful and all in all a great place to stay!"
