"Property is older and a bit dated, but staff are very friendly and helpful. We had an unfortunate plumbing issue early in the morning of our last day (due to the early morning hour, no maintenance person was available, but the front desk clerk was quick to get us into a different room quickly). Room(s) were clean, bar soap and basic shampoo, conditioner, lotion dispensers and hairdryer available. TVs were a little glitchy (had to manually turn on tv, THEN use the remote to operate. This was true in our original room and the replacement room). Complementary breakfast (with amazingly tasty scrambled eggs and fluffy biscuits, sausage gravy available the first day) as well as the usual selection of bagels, toast, cereal, packaged pastries, fruit, yogurt, and of course your waffle maker! Pool and exercise room available. Daily housekeeping available as well. Air conditioning worked beautifully (a definite plus in mid July here!). And quite obviously pet friendly."
"I loved the location of this property on Wards Road on one of the main drives in Lynchburg and down the street from some of my favorite stores and restaurants. I also was impressed with the series of "Best of Lynchburg" awards this location has received for multiple years straight.
Regardless of who was on duty, the staff acknowledged me and greeted me, the overall hotel and halls were quiet and peaceful, and the breakfast had everything I was hoping to enjoy and then some. The next time I am in Lynchburg, this will be my choice."
Comfort Inn & Suites Lynchburg Airport - University Area
10/10 Excellent
"Very friendly staff and clean facility. Just gave a 4 for clean because there was a lot of dust in the bathroom near the towel area and other surfaces. It seemed like room was in in use recently and staff forgot the dust the room."
Fairfield Inn & Suites Lynchburg Liberty University
8/10 Good
"I got super sick while here and asked for some help to load my car and was ignored and when I tried to explain issues like the ac wasn’t working well. The pool was nice minus the wad
Of hair just floating in it.
Breakfast was powdered eggs but coffee was really good, the view is amazing."
"We were in town for a track meet. The hotel is cute and close to liberty university. We booked a business suite for more space. The rooms are large and have a washer and dryer in the room. Free breakfast is standard, well prepared and just what we needed to start our day. Nice hotel for a good price. The business suite has a 2 burner kitchen and full sized fridge and dishwasher as well. Worth the price."
