"I had booked the wrong date of my stay, but was made to feel welcome and luckily could accommodate us that night instead. The room was clean, spacious and airy. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The parking although small was available. The breakfast was fantastic such a great choice and lovely cooked food, and prompt service. "On booking the St Ives Hotel we were informed that the room would be in the annexe and that there would be some steps to negotiate to access the room. No mention that the annexe is located in what appeared to be a service yard and that the room is effectively below ground! Very shabby and grubby. Would definitely not go back there "

"Absolutely rubish room had damp and mold"

Toilet and shower are really dirty... and the view from the bedroom window (see image - the seat wasnt green its mold/algae). We booked another hotel near by for the same price, but what a change."
