"Friendly welcome, Room 1, nice and well decorated, comfy bed, and a good selection of pillow sizes, shower was a rainfall, with good pressure and coverage. Restaurant and Bar raised area also for eating or drinking , so accommodating to a single traveller, it was lovely. I stay away over 40 weeks a year, and this is my number one for this area . 5 stars from me "

"I wasn't sure what to expect before I arrived at the Derby Arms but the initial greeting was warm and sincere. My room was delightful, clean and well appointed with a good sized bathroom with both a bath and a choice of shower heads. For both nights I ate in the restaurant and was served by a charming and efficient waitress.
