"The rooms are spacious and furnished perfectly for explorers. My room also had a lovely view of the mountains. I especially appreciated the desk and the ample drawer space for storage. The small kitchenette was also very useful, as dining options are limited during the winter. It’s well suited for preparing breakfast or other simple meals, though not for cooking large dinners. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay."

"Worst place we’ve ever stayed in New Zealand. It’s a cheap accommodation overall. In room 303, the heater didn’t work, the oven was broken, and the view was literally nothing. They provided cheap instant coffee, cheap utensils, a cheap mattress, and cheap pillows. The place is also isolated, with nothing around. I would not recommend it. We let Eddy, the manager, know about all the issues. The only “compensation” offered was a ticket to the theatre — a boring, cheap 30-minute video that they...

"We had an amazing stay at the Aorangi Motel. The rooms were super clean with all things available for a comfortable stay. Erin was very helpful and fun to have a banter. Would definitely recommend the hotel to everyone especially to families with little kids."
