This is an extremely basic property with no air con, you get a fan in place of air con. No fridge or hair dryer or even a bin in the room you have to use the one placed next to the toilet. There is a very busy restaurant downstairs and it seems the rooms are an after thought and the restaurant is the main business. They are no hotel staff only restaurant staff which made it difficult for me to approach when i was having issues with my transfer. I felt embarrassed and awkward having to interrupt them when i could see they were rushed off their feet, taking orders and serving. I never met my hosts and as somone with anxiety and depression it was a lonely experience not warm and welcoming. I didnt get that warm, happy hoilday feeling. Maybe the area just wasnt for me although the beach and view out to sea are beautiful i did not enjoy myself here not one bit and wished the last day away as i was longing to return home. If i had paid 10/20 euro a night i would feel like i had received value for money. Of all my trips this has been the one i enjoyed the least and will not be returning.

Eine absolut tolle Unterkunft mit einem super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Direkt am Strand gelegen. Einfaches typisch spanisches Apt. - aber super sauber gehalten. Haben täglich neue Handtücher erhalten und in den 5 Tagen, die wir da waren, wurde täglich gesäubert. Wir hatten einen kleinen Kühlschrank, der völlig ausreichend für Kühlgetränke war. Absolut zu empfehlen ist das darunter liegende zugehörige Restaurant, welches köstliche Speisen von Fisch bis Pizza oder Pasta zu absolut fairen Preisen anbietet. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!!! Solch eine Lage ist eigentlich unbezahlbar. Wer keine hohen Luxusansprüche mit viel SchnickSchnack benötigt, ist hier definitiv an der richtigen Stelle!

Hotel situé à au bord d'une magnifique crique. Attention car hôtel se situe en dessous de son restaurant qui accueille beaucoup de monde donc pas toujours calme le midi et soir. Le checking se fait au bar. Chambre vieillissante avec une seule prise de courant et un ventilateur qui énormément de bruit et un frigo qui peine à faire du froid. Mais le personnel est agreable et la chambre est propre. Tout dépend de se que vous cherchez dans vôtre sejour.

Loved this place! Basic rooms exceptional location
Hostel Playa was great. Basic no frills rooms but clean and comfy and in an amazing location right on the beach. The restaurant downstairs was great for both food and drinks. We spent most of our time on the beach and in the restaurant and just went up to the room when we needed things and to shower and sleep. Will definitely come back!

Schöne Lage direkt am Strand. Frühstück war sehr lecker und frisch. Frühstück draußen direkt am Strand. Das ist schon wunderbar! Betten hatten einen Plastiküberzug auf der Matratze, der extrem stark gequietscht hat, wenn man sich umgedreht hat. Vielleicht findet man hierfür eine andere Lösung. Ansonsten war alles toll.

Kleine Anlage, sauber, freundlich und direkt am Meer. Der Parkplatz hinter dem Haus bietet immer genug Platz. Gutes Speiserestaurat auf der Terrasse. Frühstück bis 11 Uhr. Preiswert. Entweder Balkon oder Terasse mit Tisch und Stühlen und Meerblick in jedem der Zimmer. Ich glaube es sind 12 Zimmer gesamt. Es ist ein Hostel weil ohne Fernseher und Haarfön im Bad usw, also was man nicht wirklich braucht im Sommerurlaub. Am Schönsten: Man ist direkt am Meer. Toll!

Tolles charmantes Hostal
Wunderbares Hostal, klein aber fein. Wer den grossen Komfort sucht ist hier falsch. Alles sehr einfach gehalten, Aber gut gepflegt. Hier geniesst man eine tolle und herzliche Atmosphäre an einem wunderbaren kleinen Strand. Tolle Ausflugsziele in der Nähe. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist klein aber es hat für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Die Atmosphäre ist ungezwungen und sehr persönlich. Sehr sehr nettes und freundliches Personal. Urlaub in dem man sich zuhause fühlt. Wir kommen jederzeit sehr gerne wieder.

Alors hôtel très particulier où la réception se trouve au bar du restaurant (on a dû chercher avant de trouver). L’hotêl est bien placé par rapport à la plage c’est son plus grand point fort. Le personnel est très sympa et le restaurant propose de bons plats abordables. Le plus décevant c’est l’état de l’hôtel, il ne mérite absolument pas le prix du logement. L’hygiène laisse à désirer ( à notre arrivée et puis durant le séjour) : nos draps étaient sales et n’ont pas été changés et le sol était tjrs sale. Nous avions pris la chambre triple, elle était minuscule et la literie n’était pas confortable du tout. L’armoire ne sentait pas bon et il y’avait moins de 8 ceintres. La salle de bain était petite et le débit de douche juste insuffisant ( on a dû remplir des bouteilles d’eau pour nous rincer les cheveux durant tout le séjour). Par ailleurs si vous êtes jeunes et vous avez envie de faire la fête, la région Cala Santanyí est trop calme pour vous :) C’est idéal pour les gens qui veulent se reposer loin de tout et profiter de paysages magnifiques.

It was fabulous, especially for the price. The beach is unbelievably close, you get a fridge, air conditioning, a balcony with your own table, a drying rack and reasonably priced food. There's a supermarket really close and the staff are super friendly. The are only a few non-consiquential cons: The untouristic location, so there's no more restaurants other than the hotels around and only one shop; there aren't many English visitors and staff but there's no need to worry - most people speak English; the biggest problem is the steep hills (as expected because it's at the bottom of a cliff). We cannot fault the cleanliness. New towels, new sheets, new glasses every morning. Advice though: you can cut through the beach if going to the bus stop, cala figuera or the supermarket. (We made the mistake of not shortcutting with our transfer). Google maps doesn't show these quicker paths going through but just ask the staff which direction places are located. They'll know.

Het hotel ligt perfect en hoort bij een mij al bekend restaurant. Dat restaurant heeft een keuken van hoge kwaliteit en zeer vriendelijke, deskundige en behulpzame medewerkers. Prijskwaliteit prima. Het hotel kan echter wel een upgrade gebruiken. Bedden zijn niet van deze tijd en er is slechts een kleine koelkast aanwezig, maar geen kitchenette of zelfs maar de mogelijkheid koffie te zetten. Ontbijttijd van 9.00 - 11.00 zou tenminste 2 uur eerder moeten beginnen.

Hotel simples mas agradável dentro da praia
Hotel simples, mas limpo e organizado, ótima localização para quem só quer praia, pois já fica com os pés na areia, porém sem comércio ou outras coisas perto. Tem bares e restaurantes. Atendimento muito bom ficou a desejar apenas o wi fi que cita ter mas nos quartos não pega somente no restaurante do hostel.

Hola , somos una pareja de Gallegos que vivimos en suiza , hemos estado en hostal playa ,la experiencia fue muy buena . La ubicación no puede ser mejor( está justa pegado a la Cala ) , el sitio es PRECIOSO y muy tranquilo . Muy contentos también con el servicio del restaurante , la comida riquísima ,tienen la cocinera que hace LAS MEJORES PAELLAS DEL MUNDO , a camareros que a parte de profesionales son muy amables (pablo , Iván , Javi ) y a DESTACAR la mujer que se encarga de la limpieza del hostal , su trabajo es MAGNÍFICO.

Unbearably Hot!
We stayed here in July on the top floor and it was unbearably hot at night and the hotel did not provide a fan which meant we could not sleep for three nights. It was stinking hot- some nights with a minimum of 27 degrees. Aside from this we thought all other factors of the hotel were great- staff, location and restaurant were great but as we had three terrible nights sleep i could not recommend this place unfortunately.
