It was amazing! Comfy cosy beds, with curtains that fully block out the light. As per some reviews saying the music from downstris / outside was loud I brought headphones which did massively help!! (Eventhough it was was Tuesday night lol) friendly staff easy location. Locker in bed area, and belongings felt safe! Recommend

Good location that you could fulfil eating and shopping. Tram stop can be accessed at around 7 minutes walk. Staff is nice and friendly. The room seems not really well maintained as it looks a bit old and no usb charging port in the room is so inconvenient. Besides, it is quite noisy outside at night even staying on the 2nd floor.

Lovely

Great vibe and lovely staff. Clean basic double room (no tv) Perfect for a Saturday night stay in Manchester...but if you don’t want to be in party central this might not be the place for you. Bring ear plugs if you’re sensitive to people enjoying themselves outside all night. Would definitely stay here again

I was upgraded from a 4 bed dormitory to a private room with an ensuite, which was lovely! The room was spacious and clean, but I couldn't get the shower to run hot water. Location was excellent, super central.

I’ve stayed at PH before and it’s a great hostel with competitive prices compared to other nearby hotels. I wouldn’t recommend staying on a weekend - it was incredibly noisy until 3am outside. The room was also absolutely boiling even though we turned down the radiator.

Very good price for what we got, staff were really friendly. Only thing that was a let down was cleanliness of the bed sheet which didn't seem like it was cleaned properly. It was noisy outside but I expected that to be honest with it being central in NQ

Staff were lovely, property was clean, room was nice, area was central and very convenient. The only problem was that there was a party in the downstairs area directly under our room. It sounded as if the party was actually IN our room and it continued until after 3pm. I was offered ear plugs which were freely available in a basket on the front desk so it must be a common problem. Had an awful night's sleep. If you can cope with noise you will be fine here or otherwise think carefully.
