"My taxi driver and I reached this hostel just after midnight but to my horror, the entire property looks like deserted and abandoned. We rang the bell but there were no one to answer us. We call the number stated but it was like a non existent line. Granted due to some delay I arrive a bit after the check in time, but to be left stranded like that without anyone to bother was a terrible experince. "Good backpacker hotel/hostel. Staff and owner were very nice and helpful. They would do anything for you. Let us check in early after all the trekkers left in the morning and they cleaned the room for us right away. Booked great treking through them. Nice fire pit in evening to socialize with your fellow travellers. If hot water is not working just ask as the system seems to air lock sometimes, otherwise nice hot showers. Pancakes are standard for breakfast unless you ask for something else....
