"I ended up with two different rooms. Apparently, the first room had not been cleaned and was pretty disgusting, so they gave me a second room, which was probably one of the nicest rooms that I have EVER been in. As long as you get a room that was cleaned it's an extremely nice hotel"

However, our room had some maintenance issues, including mold in the room corner, peeling paint, and a broken electrical cord and the pool was not heated, as stated. "It was a last minute decision to get a hotel near LAX and it was around 10pm. We couldn’t book online so we decided we’ll just drop in. First two had only expensive rooms available. Then we saw Sonesta. Not familiar to us. They had a room available and not only that, price was reasonable. The staff were very accommodating and helped us out. Room was amazing. We’re now putting Sonesta at the too of our list when hotel room shopping."

"I was expecting more to this place. Probably the pics are better than the actual place. Upon making reservation, I asked for connecting rooms because I have teenagers. I was told it’s doable. Upon arrival I was told no available connecting rooms. I was really disappointed. Not the nicest encounter with the female receptionist. Oh well lesson learned."

"We cancelled and left early as there were multiple roaches on the bed, ceiling, tables, fridge( room 216). We saw these within 5 minutes of arrival after we drove all day. We were not offered another room because they were full. The guy at the front desk wasn’t very helpful and we did not get a refund that night. We got a refund the next day in full which was nice but it was a huge waste of time for us to have to book another place so late. The property was very cool but I wouldn’t want another...
