"Staff were friendly and location picturesque. Never managed to eat at Michelin starred hotel restaurant but other restaurant 50 metres away was excellent. The elevator was not functioning when we left but staff offered to help carry luggage down. The room was huge and quiet."

"We were looking for a unique place to start our holiday and Ca’Palazzo Malvasia really delivered. A former hunting lodge 15 mins outside of Bologna, set in rolling hills and accessed through miles of gravel driveways interspersed with iron gates, the Palazzo is full of sloping corridors, staggered steps, grand rooms and antique furniture, with bookcases bulging with texts from the 1800s. The family room (2 double beds) was fully in keeping with the feel of the place save for a modern bathroom...

"Ottima struu"

"Almost everything was great and i would probably stay here again. Two things that made the stay less than excellent: 1) the fridge was too small (its the size of a thick briefcase), 2) loud banging noises throughout the night and morning. I should caveat that I encountered these types of noises throughout a few properties in europe. It sounds like someone angrily throwing a bunch of plates on the ground. I heard this could be old plumbing. It sounded like it was coming from the ground floor...
