"Great apartment in a great location. We walked to all main tourist areas. Lots of dining options close by. We had an issue with the washing machine and they responded immediately with how to get it going and offered to come by. Very helpful staff! We got it working no problem. Kids loved the wifi. Would stay here again. "

"We were a bit skeptical booking a “guest house” but are happy we did so for this property. The owner was present when arrived and was very friendly. She lives on the same floor as the apartments she rents so is easily accessible if needed. It felt very secure. The doors into the apartments are pretty close to each other but we didn’t hear any sounds from neighboring rooms. "There are 2 cafe/restaurants side by side as you walk out front door.The room was very small and no place to hang clothes unless you are around 6'6' as the only closet is out of normal reach.There is no fan for the room so we smelled the bathroom odor which had a Methane gas/sewer smell.We had to keep door closed to bathroom.The door in room opened to a building 20 ft away which was horrible to look at and tenants so no privacy if you need air.Towels were not allowed according to Lara every day...

"This review is only for the Annex location. The 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit was great for a family of four. We liked the clean and large bedrooms. However, the bathroom were small, especially the showers. We didn’t like this unit was away from the main building. It was a hassle to storage the luggage, come back and you need to walk to another location for the stay. It was quite the work out! "Excellent location from which to explore Eternal city. Piazza quite noisy at night. Room spacious but bathroom small. Shower rain head worked poorly and handheld wand was low pressure. Sink level needs adjustment, leaked water and had small ledge. Staff were very friendly, pleasant accommodating. Only provided one key which was inconvenient. AC worked well. Included breakfast was good for small hotel. Value was fair. Would ask for pictures of bathrooom and choose specific room if available. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Xenia guest house. The rooms were perfectly clean and all of the staff were super friendly. The location was ideal for walking to all of the sites, but it was also very easy to hop on a bus, train, or taxi right outside the property. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Rome!"

They then showed us a map of the local area including attractions and even helped us book a tour of the Vatican Museums, Basillica and Sistine Chapel on an incredibly busy tourist day.
