"Very small room with weird smell. Staff is useless and just wants to get rid of you. You hear everything going down the hallway and rooms around, no noise insulation in the room. Super loud air system. Miniature closet and bathroom, even smaller than European standards!"

"We arrived from a morning train. The concierge greeted and stored our bags so we could take in the sights. We returned midafternoon and were allowed an early check-in and the valet had already moved our bags to the room. Checkout was the same. We really thought the service was great! The location was excellent as well. Cloud Gate was a couple minutes walk. Shopping and museums were short walks or uber rides. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Overall a great stay!"

The property is clean and well maintained, so it feels luxurious, and it’s right downtown in the loop so you have easy access to anything you may want to experience in Chicago. I highly recommend the Hilton for any trip or staycation in Chicago."

"Having stayed in the lovely Swissotel Bosphorus/Istanbul, I was hesitant to compare Swissotel experience & hope Chicago would be as good. No. Not even close. The elevated Swissotel brand is not represented here well in this building at all. The valet is $87! Self park is $70 and the self park area doesn’t even have an elevator up to the lobby, you have to walk through a dark, confusing, and claustrophobic garage to stairs then to elevator. Staff were tactful & kind, it’s just the building is old, needs renovation, & the room air is stuffy. A positive bright light was the stunning view from the gym and the lobby ambience & smell. "
