"In a word: shabby. But it was pretty clean, and they do allow pets. But if you're looking for anything more than that, you will be disappointed. Flat pillows, exposed wires, not enough room to close the bathroom door , uneven bathroom floor, and battered furniture."
"The room was very clean and a nice comfortable bed. Pillow was as outstanding. The staff was very attentive to our questions about the property and the surroundings. What was a nice surprise was the full breakfast in the morning. Not too many places do that. Overall no complaints with the hotel and we will stay there again."
"If I could give the front desk a "0" star they wouldn't deserve that. At check in the desk clerk was super Unfriendly and not helpful. When we get to my room we discovered there was only one towel thus causing us to call the front desk to request more towels only to be told that 'I would have to come down to get them". We wanted to clean up before going to dinner. I asked for a manager in regards to that and other issues only to be told no management person would be available until the next day (I called down at 3:30pm). At check out I asked for my receipt and was told the "3rd party gave it upon making my reservation" I responded, "but your hotel placed a hold on my card and charged for Parking which wasn't charged when the reservation was made". The desk clerk said she could not provide a receipt. The ONLY helpful person at this establishment was Rhonda, at breakfast.
I would NOT recommend this hotel, spend a couple of extra dollars and stay at one of the MANY other reputable hotels in the area, there are plenty to choose from."
Country Inn & Suites By Radisson, Battle Creek, MI
2/10 Terrible
"Tv in room didn't work not -a big deal, but our only option was to switch to a less valued room with no price adjustment because we booked 3rd party or check out for a full refund at 730pm. We decided to stay simce it was a 2 night trip. No elevator at all on the property. There's a "bar" but was never opened even at stated hours.
The room was outdated, old carpet, and the more we stayed the dirtier we realized the room was.
Breakfast was gross, biscuits and gravy were tasteless and the gravy was paste. Only positive was staff was doing theor best and were kind."
