The Bethesdan Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
8/10 Good
"Front desk was a little up and down. No water for sale or detergent. "

The Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Baltimore
10/10 Excellent
"Room was large, clean, comfortable bed, nice bathroom and great view of the harbor. Busy street between hotel and harbor...lots of traffic noise to about 11 PM. Short walk to Aquarium and other harbor activities. "

Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel
6/10 Okay
"I was there during a large conference (I was not part of the conference) and the hotel was totally understaffed. They had one or two people at the front desk. The bar/restaurant ran out of food and tap beer, and they only had one bartender on duty. He was very good but had too many customers. Also, they put me in a room that looked out on the conference floor so it was loud and there was food tables set outside on the 6th floor. Stay away from the 6th floor. They did move me because I needed to be able to rest and open the curtains without everyone at the conference seeing me. It was an odd setup on that floor. Once moved the room was nice and comfortable. The area wasn't the best. As I entered the hotel a woman was getting arrested at the hotel. In the evening there was police activity outside the hotel. It looked like youth fighting. Overall it is a nice hotel but it is huge and if you have problems walking a long distance with bags you may want to stay somewhere else. There is one elevator shaft, and you end up doing a lot of walking to get to your room if on the other side of the hotel. "

Princess Royale Oceanfront Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Staff were very professional. Suite was awesome. "

Lord Baltimore Hotel
6/10 Okay
"The hotel itself was okay. After calling 5x's with no answer house keeping did finally respond to my request for an extra blanket and a set of towels. 2 hours later they did bring it to the room. I went to take a shower that evening the water was cold. I called guest services and maintenance showed up made an adjustment where it was now lukewarm. I was just like whatever, its better than it was. BTW the maintenance guy was excellent. Then we had to stare at a pile of soiled linen stacked up right across from our room for the two days we were there. I only saw housekeeping 1 time in the hotel, and that was when they answered my request. The staff was friendly overall. The expeience, I would definitely not stay here again because of it."

Grand Hotel Ocean City Oceanfront
8/10 Good
"So I love this hotel . Me and my bestfriend stayed for a few nights and we had a great view , you can tell housekeeping CARES they really make those rooms gorgeous. One thing that would be cool is if housekeeping left some extra trash bags at the bottom of the can so I can bag up my trash instead of stacking it 3 ft high it makes me feel bad for housekeeping. Besides that they do charge a 22 dollar so about 11 dollars a day for parking . They authorized that charge without me even being there.. and oh yeah TO THE LADY NAMED JENNIFER AT CHECK IN. LEARN HOW TO TALK TO YOUR EMPLOYEES YOU EMBARRASSED THAT NEW GIRL RIGHT IN FRONT OF US SO BAD WE WERE GOING TO LEAVE. YOU HAVE A HORRENDOUS ATTITUDE AS IF YOU DONT LIKE YOUR JOB. I was going to tell you that in person but I'm sure you wouldn't handle that like an adult giving how you acted with that sweet girl who was learning the ropes obviously. IF YOU ARE THAT GIRL AND YOU READ THIS . DONT LET HER MAKE YOU FEEL THAT WAY AGAIN. this hotel is also great for the amenities the pool ... Small arcade... Restaurants.. a bar .. but it's expensive as hell so make sure you have MONEY to waste on it. Still I would say it's one of the nicer hotels down in OC."

Hyatt Place National Harbor
2/10 Terrible
"I recently stayed at the Hyatt Place for seven days, and I regret to share that my experience did not meet the standards one would expect from the brand.
A particularly challenging moment occurred when a meeting room I had reserved in advance for an important work call was unavailable at the scheduled time. As this had been confirmed the day prior, the lack of accountability or timely resolution was both surprising and disruptive.
On the first evening of my stay, I was also impacted by excessive noise and the odor of marijuana coming from a neighboring room. While I appreciate that the concern was addressed after being reported, it nonetheless created an uncomfortable first impression.
Throughout the week, there were notable inconsistencies in service. I understand and respect the intention behind welcoming local police officers for breakfast to promote a sense of safety; however, the execution appeared to unintentionally disadvantage paying guests. Officers frequently occupied the designated loading and unloading area, limiting access for guests arriving or departing with luggage. Additionally, breakfast offerings were often depleted, leaving guests without the amenities included in their stay.
On a separate evening, we visited the on-site restaurant, Bar Harbor, for a late dinner and were reminded of closing times in a manner that felt less than hospitable, despite arriving within operating hours.
Taken together, these experiences suggest opportunities for improvement."
