"Excellent property, and wonderful, helpful staff. We had an ocean front room, which was amazing. The pool is great for kids and adults alike. The property is also located a little away from the busy part of Ali’i drive, which makes it great to relax at the end of the day after a day full of activities but is conveniently located near beaches and grocery/convenient stores. "This resort was relaxing and enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again if I had the opportunity. "This property was well past my expectations in a good way. Very peaceful and welcoming. You can walk to the shopping center and other beach front resorts with ease. "The Big Island Retreat is a lovely property located minutes on foot to one of the best snorkeling beaches on Big Island. We stayed in the Ocean view room which was over 2 floors. "We had the best time staying at Kona Tiki Hotel! We loved hearing the waves crash in at night and the slow-down island vibe of the hotel. "Everything was great about the property. It's bigger than we expected. Big kitchen and living room. Great view on the patio/deck. "This is an extraordinary place, beautifully nestled at the top of a narrow tree-lined road, designed to blend into the landscape. It's high, and the view of the sea is grand.
