"We (a family of 3 generations) chose the hotel specifically for its proximity to the Heraklion airport. The hotel was immaculate, the staff helpful and the rooms were also immaculate and provided all the necessities for an overnight stay. Yes, we did hear the planes going overhead - but that was expected. And the heavy drapes mitigated the noise considerably. The beds were so comfortable that none of us had any trouble sleeping. Check in was a breeze & he provided lots of good information for touring around including how far away (time wise) places were As a Canadian travelling overseas best purchase was a multi plug power bar (EU style) & then able to plug a converter into that - outlets were higher up on the wall & less weight balancing on the plug in."
