"My friend and I stayed here this weekend due to attending a festival nearby. The stable rooms are absolutely lovely, so comfortable, beautiful bathroom and lovely bed! We even had horses in stables next to us which was a lovely view to wake up too. The self serve breakfast room was so cute and had everything you could really ask for including fresh fruit, milk, breads and pastries. Will be returning with my partner for sure!"

"Hi, Just to let you know. The locks of my room was broken even before I got in 2days ago and showed the owner. It had not been repaired, hence I have to carry my luggage with me when I was outside. You mentioned that you would mend it but it was not for last 2days. There was hardly much for the breakfast, just basic. I had not had my breakfast for last 2 days. "The hotel has real charm with many original features. The hosts are and staff are very welcoming. "

"Stay in a working monastery! The buildings and extensive grounds are superb. The grounds and gardens are well tended, and make for an extremely pleasant stroll. The place oozes character and makes a memorable visit. All this on the outskirts of Huddersfield. The rooms are basic but clean. Breakfast is only "continental", offering cereals, muesli, yoghurt, plenty of fresh bread for toast and lots of strong filter coffee. The staff are friendly and welcoming."
