"Bar was well stocked with what ever you required. There was not a beach view as it was on the street leading to the beach.The room was clean and compacted and the staff were very good and helpful."

"The Bushel is a friendly well run pub right in the heart of Bury St. Edmunds. It has the advantage of Car Parking for guests. Breakfast and Dinner were both good value and tasty. The staff are helpful and efficient. We stayed in one of the courtyard rooms. This had all we needed including a good size bed, shower, tea and coffee, Tv etc. We would certainly stay here again when we are next in the area."

"Nice staff. But walls peeling in bathroom, door entry into room has huge gap underneath so you can hear everything in and out of the room. Flies buzzing around, bins being emptied at 8am next to our room. Mould in bathroom"

The breakfast was amazing and the fresh pastel del nata was even better than what I’ve had in Portugal! 10/10 recommend "

"This was the second time we’ve stayed here in the past 2 years and it was lovely once again. The room is really nice and comfortable and the staff are excellent. The TV has been upgraded from last year which was a much needed improvement and is now excellent. The only minor issues are the air con unit on the wall that seems utterly useless. We placed it on the cool setting but it seems to make no difference. We had the same issue last year. Please look at or replace the air con unit. The doors...

"Staff were very helpful even found me an iron as we were going to a family wedding. The rooms were clean and tidy, and comfy bed. They thought of everything yoghurts, butter, bread milk, juice, cereal if you require an early start. Otherwise a beautifully cooked English breakfast by Duncan all fresh produce and tea or coffee. I arrived late due to being held up at work so called ahead, the chap on the phone was kind enough to wait 1hr30 past the check-in deadline for me to get there, thank you! Had only booked the single room for 1 night, while the room could be classed as a little snug it was nothing less than very comfortable. The room is very well presented and incredibly clean, bed was super comfy and bathroom was spotless and of a decent size. Paid extra for the Full English...
