"Lovely room with a great view. Staff is excellent. Location is absolutely perfect: There's a streetcar stop directly outside that drops you off at the Plaza on one end and tons of other attractions on the other end — Union Station, World War I Memorial, much more. Westport restaurants are very close by. CONS: The food is vastly overpriced and middling at best. The breakfast buffet is currently $25 per person and the food is not better than you'd get at any breakfast buffet. I don't mind paying...

"Check-in was tedious, granted it was late night(actually early morning, 1-130am), booking was via Travago via Expedia and all my info entered on line prior to arriving had to be re-entered at check-in. Upon entering the room the smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling loosely and I was unable to secure it to the ceiling. "Adorable little hotel, only about a dozen rooms and unstaffed but quiet and discreet. Rooms are sheik and the beds are fantastic (like really comfortable). Probably the best part is the location, just a few miles from Union Station, the Jazz District, downtown and the WW1 museum with a great coffee shop across the street."
