"This a perfect hotel if you want to be in the new town and are a close walk to everything. The hotel does require you to be able to use technology to check in but each room has everything you will need. The lounge was filled with a coffee bar and fresh pastries and place to rest. The room just felt cozy but professional."

"This property was comfortable, clean, and well equipped. Great location, too. However, in an effort to save energy, the bathroom lights were on a motion detector. There is nothing worse than finding yourself in a soapy, slippery shower in the pitch black because the lights would not stay on. Would never stay here again because of that!"

"This was the PERFECT location and setup for us as a family of four with two kids (young enough to sleep together on a pull out couch). It was lovely, clean and had everything we needed. We could have used a fan a few times since we were there during a heat wave, but that was the only issue!"

"Our apartment had the most amazing views (flat 6 at no 4 Hanover st ) and was incredibly spacious and clean. Unfortunately we hadn’t realised we would be on the top floor with no lift and have learned to perhaps check better before booking as my husband had difficulty with stairs. Fortunately the flat was so good it made up for the difficulties. Would definitely recommend a stay here."

"Nice place. A little cramped for five of us but good value for the money spent. Washer worked but dryer didn't. We ended up having clothes stuck in there for a long time overnight and in the morning when we rsna the dryer a few times. Checkout is at 1000am so at 1024 they knocked saying we need to leave. That's on us but I don't think I've ever gotten a knock before. He gave us til 1107am since wet clothes were still and in the dryer for multiple hours. They still didn't dry so we had to...

"The hotel is very well positioned on the beautiful Charlotte Square. It truth the hotel, compared with when I stayed there a few years ago, was a bit run down and even grubby. Needs a spot of paint and quite a lot more - rather disappointing."

"Excellent room with large kitchen and room for 4 adults. Location was great, close to restaurants and pubs on Rose street and walking distance to Leith St, Edinburgh castle, and the Royal Mile. The shower in the bathroom didn’t drain very quickly and the bathroom door seemed to have water damage on the bottom as a result. This did not impact our comfort in anyway and I would stay in the same location again."
