"Excellent hotel and location in Grassmarket. Easy walk to restaurants and site. Could see the Edinburgh from our window. Only disadvantage was the king bed was up against the wall and one of us (me) had to shimmy through a narrow space past the end of bed and windows, then I had to crawl from the end of the bed to my pillow. Glad I'm a limber and flexible 75 year old. Just made it difficult for my nightly trips to the toilet from all the beer! Except for the bed (which by the way was comfortable) we would book again with a different room."

"The hotel is in a very good location to tour Edinburgh. The front desk staff was very helpful, even letting us change rooms when we had an issue. Breakfast was very good and the fitness center was good. We never received the complimentary bottle of wine that was mentioned on Expedia when I booked nor was I offered an upgrade. "
