"Fab hotel. Easy to get to from Princes street tram stop (prepare for an uphill walk and steps, we took the step free route on the way back!). Room was perfect for my 11 year old and me. Views of the castle from the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were great. Use of pool and sauna in the sister hotel 1 minute down the road was an added bonus. Loved this hotel. "

"Loved our stay in a 2 bed apartment in Braid apartments. Beds so comfortable that I didn’t want to leave ! Great welcome basket with some breakfast items were waiting for us on arrival. 2 bathrooms with showers in each and great heat throughout the apartment. Super place to be based as so close to princes street and main sites. Staff very helpful before arrival and provided information when it was needed. We arrived around 8pm and it was easy to access with the provided code which was emailed...

"Actually, we were not able to stay. I did climb the 30 steps to get to the apartment, and it was a very nice place. 40 years ago, it would have been suitable for my wife and I. It would be better suited to younger travelers since all bags have to be carried up the steps. However, I cannot fault the owners because I did not pay close enough attention to the description"

"We loved our stay at The Old Town Chambers in Edinburgh. Centrally located on the Royal Mile, it's directly across from the beautiful St. Giles Cathedral. Superb for sightseeing and walking! Housekeeping serviced the room every day. It was clean and bright (with three huge windows)! The furnishings, and kitchenette amenities made it very comfortable, and relaxing, and a nice place to “come home” to, after a long day of walking and exploring. "We had a lovely stay at the Linton Collection Apartments over Christmas. This was our third year spending Christmas here and once again we loved it. The location is ideal, just off the Royal Mile, and the apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay — it really was a perfect Christmas.
