"First visit here and very pleasantly surprised. We arrived about 7pm and immediately you could feel it had a very good ambience. It was busy with most people enjoying an eveing meal. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We hadn't booked a table for our evening meal as we weren't sure of our plans when booking the room. "Stayed over for a night whilst travelling back from a trip to Scotland. A great B & B which I can’t recommend highly enough. From meeting Susan on arrival where she showed off our room. Whilst cosy, everything was pristine! A comfy bed and great breakfast the next morning topped off a great stay.
Not forgetting the pub attached……where we had our evening meal and probably the best Beef and Ale pie we’ve ever had with great personal service too.

"Ideally situated close to the centre of Berwick Upon Tweed. Excellent value for money.
Compact room with small double bed, comfortable enough but a bit creaky.
TV, Kettle and fridge in room aswell as a hairdryer.
A few minor issues that could be improved upon are;
TV is ok if you are connecting somwthing to it but the signal for the digital channels is terrible.
There is no mirror next to plug sockets for styling hair etc.

"Situated in the very centre of Kelso, convenient place to stay when exploring the area. Checkin was done very easily, with clear instructions sent beforehand. There is a Greggs just in front of the hotel, and also several restaurants and takeaways in close vicinity. There was double glazing in the room, and hence better insulation. "
