"Loved this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious with great views. My companion was not so lucky, insofaras their room was nearer a boiler or fan which could be heard until 11pm. Maybe a bit of sound proofing in the boiler cupboard would not go amiss, but otherwise this hotel was a very good find and I would not hesitate in booking there again. "

"We were greeted warmly on our arrival. Everything was explained in a friendly but professional manner. We were taken up to our room which all wasn't huge was comfortable with a tea tray and kettle. The bathroom was gorgeous. Everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was well organised and nothing was too much trouble for Colette and the team . The property is away from Butlins with a lovely walk either way out the property. It's very quite here. "

"Excellent character property, with well trained and cheerful staff, good service and good food. Only criticism would be small choice of vegetarian options and no Sunday vegetarian roast choice. Like others, we enjoy our Sunday lunch and were disappointed to have only a risotto or pasta dish offered. Why can’t a nut roast be offered as well "
