"Amazing place to stay! The rooms are beautiful, actually the whole place is! The beds are probably the most comfortable beds we’ve slept in. Its all the little details that make this place so incredible. The artwork, the decor, the homemade breakfasts. The owners and staff were super nice! The vila is in the small town of Colares and is a short drive into Sintra. We wanted to stay near Sintra, but wanted to avoid the crowds and Vila Vitorino was perfect! "The Águamel is a quaint and unique place to stay while in Sintra, hidden away from the main tourist noise. At least that was how it was for us when we stayed in February. Of course, any stay is only as good as the other guests who share the hotel with you. The breakfast was lovely, albeit a tad later (served at 9) than we would prefer. The location is great, next to the city, yet far enough that it is very quiet, with a beautiful view on the town.
