"Beautiful property with exquisite furniture. The beds were very comfortable. A wide array of fruits, meat, cheese, pastries, cereal, yogurt, and eggs were offered at breakfast. Parking on property is limited so reserve ahead. A wonderful place to stay when visiting Colares and Sintra!"

We were assigned a charming room in the former wine cellar. No elevator and we were prepared to carry our suitcases downstairs but the staff insisted on doing it. "We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Karen, our hostess, was incredibly attentive to our needs as we were traveling with a one year old. Our room was turned down and taken care of everyday. Karen went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable every time I saw her, even arranging a taxi service for us to go into town for baby food and diapers.
