The Palace was lovely to walk through, the gardens were beautiful and provided may photo opportunities, and our room was pretty and had a large wardrobe to store all our clothes. I do wish we had a bigger bed as one double bed for two people was quite squishy but that was the only thing I’d change. "Location was walkable into old town, train station, tour buses (434, 435 located at the train station) and sintra bus station. Our room was in the back, therefore nice and quiet. Enjoyed cup of tea on the upper terrace looking onto the patio. Staff very informative. Only thing missing is a small refrigerator in the room. Good restaurants nearby. Little fruit stand/convenience store across street. Pingo Doce grocery storea bit of a hike but worth it."
