"The hotel was renovating some rooms which meant there was deafening noise throughout the day and started as early as 8am. Actually quite ludicrous they kept the hotel open or at the very least didn’t sell rooms in the most affected areas. Staff beyond unresponsive when raised with them and very rude. "Lovely stay in the heart of Gruyères
Excellent location right in the heart of beautiful Gruyères village. The room was spacious and comfortable, and it was very convenient for exploring the castle, restaurants and surrounding area. We especially enjoyed the atmosphere of staying inside the historic village rather than outside it. A lovely base for our two-night stay and we would happily stay here again."
